HERE COMES SPRING - and HERE COME THE SERAFINS!
Thanks to over 80 generous donors, The Serafins reached our goal during DELAWARE DO MORE 24 campaign, raising over $2400 in 24 hours! We are grateful - every dollar helps!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR and SERAFIN SOUNDS OF SPRING are just around the corner.

In APRIL, we perform across the Brandywine region - in Kennett Square, Lewes, Wilmington, Glen Mills, and Greenville. We will also again visit Cab Calloway School of the Arts where we are working with young musicians throughout the year.

In April, we will present our first performance at Kennett Library, SOUND CZECH! focusing on Czech giants, Dvorak and Martinu with a charming quartet by Haydn. We also bring a similar program to the gorgeous setting at Stonegates in Greenville, with CZECH PLEASE! and they offer the supreme chef-curated reception following the program.

We cap the week with REVOLUTION and INDEPENDENCE - a tribute to America's 250th birthday, to be performed in Lewes and at Old Swedes - Wilmington. This novel concert includes a string quartet by Benjamin Franklin (really!), and works by Thomas Jefferson's favorite composer - Archangelo Corelli. And during the week we will also perform GYPSY LIFE in Glen Mills - an hour of fiery fun in the Hungarian Gypsy tradition.

The international flavor of The Serafins will be in full form that week, with roster artists who originally hail from New Zealand, Russia, and South Africa. With us in Delaware for the week will be Eric Pritchard (violin, in from NC); Adelya Shagidullina (our violist, up from DC); Jacques-Pierre Malan (bringing his cello, from Baltimore); and pianist Read Gainsford (from Tallahassee). Also participating are Gabriel Benton (harpsichord) and Eileen Grycky (flute), along with our local colleague and friend, Michael Larkin who will be adding a special spark to our Lewes and Wilmington programs with his vocal talents.

TICKETS and INFORMATION about our April performances is just a click away HERE!
